At a glance... DEVELOPING & DEPLOYING CREATIVE IDEAS
Overview
This workshops re-examines creativity as an intrinsic motivation. Redefining and
working towards personally meaningful goals. This workshop seeks to support
delegates by demonstrating techniques that can engage their creative ideas and
mechanisms for deploying these in the workplace.
Syllabus Outline
Defining personal methods for effective Learning & Thinking. Examing
the function and role of new knowledge in personal / professional life.
Teaching Methods
Some units will be delivered through a programme of questioning / reflecting and
interactive discussions. Learners will be asked to question their personal learning
and thinking strategies then annotate their ideas afterwhich they will engage in group
discussions concerning their own personal thoughts and inquiry. Group critiques are
important as learners have the opportunity to display and discuss their work with peers.
This gives the learner the opportunity to share and also exchange techniques, ideas
as well as motivate and encourage each other.
Instructional Method
Inquiry-based Learning is often used in Science education. In this situation,
it is used, amongst other methods, to support learners towards discovering
knowledge independently. Fetht provides all necessary tools & materials to
support learners' inquiry.
